March 29, 2003 at Tokyo Rose

Though Silent Muse had existed, in some form or another, as early as 1999, it has mainly been in the sense of Patrick doing little instrumentals or remixes and then sharing them with a few friends. It was Christiane Knight, the promoter for The Dawning at Tokyo Rose, who finally encouraged him to do a show. Not many people can claim, either, that their first show ever was opening for a fairly reknowned Goth Band, in this case The Last Dance. Having the opening slot gave Patrick the perfect opportunity to test the waters, and even though the 35-minute set was done completely alone, the crowd reaction was strong. It was definitely a good beginning. . .
